Sergio Garcia cannot wait to get back into the swing of things when he returns to action in the Volvo Golf Champions in Bahrain.
The 31-year-old Spaniard has slipped down to 80th in the world rankings and is eager to get back into his golf clothing and start winning again.
"The extended break I have taken over the winter has refreshed both me and my enthusiasm for the game all over again," he said.
"I'm looking forward to testing my game against many of the best players on the European Tour."
Just under two years ago Garcia was ranked number two in the world just behind Tiger Woods, and with the American recovering from serious knee surgery there was a real chance he could have reached the top of the pile.
But personal issues proved to be a huge distraction for Garcia and his form took a huge dip.
With his off-course concerns now addressed, Garcia could be a force to be reckoned with in 2011.
