The battle for supremacy in the golf clothing stakes is almost as competitive as the action on the course and there are a number of young golfers vying for top spot.
Ryo Ishikawa, who performed well at the recent WGC in Akron, Ohio, has usurped Ian Poulter in the fashion stakes, according to Mike McAllister, editor of Chapeau Noir Golf.
"Ishikawa always has something up his sleeve with which to surprise us. I find myself looking to see what he's wearing before anyone else," he added.
Other notable names that are pushing the boundaries of golf clothing and fashion on the course are Kyle Stanley and Zach Johnson.
Young American, Stanley, wears Dunning sportswear and Mr McAllister believes that the slim lines really work on his frame, giving him a great look on course.
Johnson who wears the iliac golf range, a California-based company that was once better-known for its extensive range of golf accessories, was also praised by McAllister, who also goes by the name of the Man in the Black Hat.
He recently said that golf shoes are expected to be a particular area of change in the next 12 months.
