The Masters 2012 brought drama and excitement right until the very end but more importantly what did the golfing greats wear on the fairways?
The latest styles from the most popular brands were in full view. World number two Rory McIlroy showcased Oakley's ever evolving golf collection. Spaniard Sergio Garcia, nicknamed "El Nino", kept his cool around the frustrating Augusta course thanks to Adidas' performance fabrics. Tour stalwart Fred Couples demonstrated his usual laid back style, strutting down the fairways in the latest spikeless street shoe from Ecco. Fred famously set the street shoe trend alight at the 2011 Open Championship and the likes of Justin Rose, Matt Kucher and Jason Day have since decided to copy his swagger. Peter Hanson, the Swedish star who led the tournament going into the final day, looked sharp in Galvin Green but as we all know, clothing cannot stop the shanks! For us, Ian Poulter once again stole the show, modelling his unique pair of tartans with a matching yellow belt and shoe combo on the final day - not for the faint hearted! The brash Englishman put in a fantastic Majors performance to finish seventh on the leaderboard and number in the Function18 style stakes.....
