Great Britain and Ireland will lock horns with US golfers in the Walker Cup, the amateur equivalent of the Ryder Cup, in September and the home nations boys will be sporting some new golf clothing.
Fans at the Royal Aberdeen Golf Club will be treated to some top golf during the event and some high-quality golf clothing will be on show.
Glenmuir, one of Europe’s leading golf clothing brands, will supply the team and officials with more than 460 co-ordinating Dublin and Howth shirts and Finlay and Lauder knitwear for the 43rd staging of the historic event.
"We are delighted to be supporting the Walker Cup team, but especially so this year as the match is in Scotland for the first time since 1999," said marketing director Brian Mair.
He said he is proud to be involved with such talented players and to be tasked with making them look the part on the course.
Great Britain and Ireland will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing seven-point loss in 2009.
