US Masters champion Charl Schwartzel says he is chuffed to have cracked the world's top ten, but has some doubts about his new-found fame.
Schwartzel, who often wears Nike golf clothing while out on the fairways, said he was thrilled to be at number seven and is setting even higher ambitions.
"You've got to take it one step at a time but I would love to be number one and I feel I can be (one day)," he was quoted by Reuters as saying.
The South African birdied the last four holes at Augusta National this year, winning the tournament in some style.
But he is still getting to grips with his new-found fame.
"Wherever you go people recognise you, where people used to only recognise you in your golf clothes, now it's even in casual wear," he was quoted as saying.
Schwartzel also revealed that he carries the most famous item of golf clothing – the Green Jacket – with him everywhere he goes.
Does he put it on every day? "I did for a while," he said.
