Rory Sabbatini has won the Honda Classic at the PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens.
The South African held firm in the final round to see off the challenge of the resurgent YE Yang to win by just one shot.
Sabbatini had to adapt to the windy conditions in his golf clothing but saw his five-shot lead whittled away by the determined South Korean.
"Luckily I had enough of a cushion that I didn't get too concerned," Sabbatini said. "I knew going into today that if I shot even par, it was going to be tough to catch."
He showed coolness under pressure to sink a solid par at the difficult 18th to secure the sixth title of his professional career and his first since 2009.
His best performance in a Major came four years ago when he finished joint-second in the Masters at Augusta.
