Ian Poulter has secured two halves in his Group H matches at the Volvo World Matchplay Championship with Paul Lawrie and Francesco Molinari.
He now faces an anxious wait to see if he will qualify for the knockout round of the competition, which is being held in Andalucia, Spain.
Poulter has been wowing the Spanish crowd with his superb golf as well as his unusual attire.
The Brit took to the Finca Cortesin course in a pair of blue and white chequered golf trousers, matched with a conservative blue golf shirt – unusual for the flamboyant world number 18.
Lawrie and Molinari will now face off, with the winner guaranteed a spot in the knockout round. Should the pair draw, the group of three will all be tied on 2 points, and a hole-by-hole playoff could ensue.
World numbers one and two, Lee Westwood and Luke Donald, look certain to qualify for the knockout round after both claimed victories in their first round robin matches.
