Rory McIlroy walked all over the competition in the US Open at Congressional last week, and he did so in a pair of Footjoy golf shoes.
The 22-year-old broke the record for the largest margin of victory in a US Open with his eight shot win – one of many record-breaking achievements for the Northern Irishman during the event.
McIlroy took to the course on Thursday in a pair of FJ Sport golf shoes, which provided him with the base for his astonishing 65.
The FJ Sport golf shoe features soft full-grain leathers and sleek performance-infused outsoles.
Rory also chose FootJoy's Pure Touch glove for its superb grip and feel, as he marched ahead of his nearest rivals.
A number of FootJoy ambassadors finished inside the top-ten, including 3rd placed world number two Lee Westwood who also wore the FJ Sport, and reigning Open Champion Louis Oosthuizen who wore the FJ ICON.
