The Brit believes that Woods has always been behind his fellow professionals when it comes to on-course fashion.
Poulter joked that the game's legends – Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Doug Sanders - all had style but claimed that the former number one doesn't look good on the course.
He said: "He's got an incredible physique. I think he needs to show it off more. I would love to dress him but I don't think I will get the chance."
Poulter will soon be packing his spectacular IJP design clothes for his trip to Augusta National as he attempts to pick up his first major title and the most famous item of golf clothing around – the Green Jacket.
After the first two rounds in last year's event Poulter topped the leaderboard with a pair of 68s but a disappointing weekend saw him finish 11 shots off the pace set by Phil Mickelson.
Serial tweeter Poulter recently urged Woods to get involved with the "banter" he shares with other players on the social networking site.
