In the recent Open Championship, FootJoy was revealed as the preferred golf shoes and gloves of the bulk of the world's leading golfers.
Almost two-thirds (60 per cent) played this year's tournament at Royal St George's in a pair of FootJoy golf shoes, highlighting the brand's comfort, style and performance.
US Open winner and golf's hottest prospect Rory McIlroy wears FootJoy golf shoes as well as two-time Open champion Padraig Harrington and Louis Oosthuizen.
Another feather in the cap of FootJoy is the fact that the current world numbers one and two, Luke Donald and Lee Westwood, both chose FootJoy golf shoes for the event in Kent.
"To lead the shoe and glove counts at such a prestigious tournament for a period spanning over three decades is an achievement we can be incredibly proud of," said Russell Lawes, FootJoy's European marketing manager.
"FootJoy remains the overwhelming favourite for golfers of all abilities around the world," he explained.
The English Golf Union recently signed a deal with Footjoy to supply golf shoes to its golfers.
