Dustin Johnson has incurred the wrath of the authorities once more after turning up late in his golf clothing for the first round of the Northern Trust Open.
It's the second time in less than a week that the American has found himself in hot water, following his fine for reckless driving in his home state of Southern California.
And his lack of punctuality at the Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles cost him two shots.
The 26-year-old was mistakenly told by his caddie that his tee time was 40 minutes later than it was actually scheduled for.
Johnson was later seen scampering up the hill to the first tee at Riviera in order to avoid being disqualified.
He was casually going through his warm-up routine when a PGA Tour official ran over to the range to inform him that he was supposed to be lining up his first shot of the round on the opening tee.
"I was like, 'What are you talking about?'" Johnson said. "I've never missed a tee time before."
Johnson finished the 2010 season ranked fourth on the PGA Tour money list.
