World number four tennis star Andy Murray loves nothing more than pulling on his golf clothing when he's not on the court.
However, the Scottish sportsman said that he never plays golf near major competitions as it makes his back stiff, meaning he has probably put his golf shoes at the back of the cupboard in the run-up to Wimbledon.
Speaking to the Scotsman, he said he did stay up to watch Rory McIlroy in the US Open.
"I've never met Rory, but I would like to. I've always found it interesting meeting other athletes - ones who have been very successful. Especially British athletes as well - it is good. They have been through a lot of the same sort of things that you have," he added.
Murray also revealed that he does not have an official handicap, but has not lost a game in five years.
This week has seen Murray on the tennis court rather than the golf course. He faced Daniel Gimeno-Traver in the first round at Wimbledon on Monday and proved victorious.
