A golf boot by definition is going to be bulky however Adidas have used their bounce foam and a microfibre leather upper to combat this, which does provide a decent amount of cushioning/style. The cleat configuration on the bottom of the boot has also been improved to enhance stability and traction, as well as green friendliness. FootJoy Hydrolite Winter Golf Boot
FootJoy bring us a new model for the 2017 winter season which features a new zip design to maximise its ability to stop water getting to your feet. Underneath the new zip is a lace up section as you would find on any standard boot, the zip then covers this area with DuraMax rubber creating an amphibious look. EVA fit-beds are underfoot, this technology doesn't harden with use so the theory is that this comfort should last the lifetime of the shoe. Nike Lunar Vapor Storm BOA Golf Boot
Now we have Nike offering up 'the ultimate in waterproof protection for your feet' with an all new addition to their footwear range. This boot looks the most like a conventional golf shoe of the three we have featured, the most sleek and stealth design of any 'golf boot' I have seen. The top of this golf boot is a seam sealed shroud, which combines with a waterproof membrane to provide a golfer with complete protection from the elements. Concealed within this is almost like another shoe which is complete with a BOA closure system which is an updated (improvement) on a traditional laced design. Whilst wearing this golf boot you feel confident that your feet will stay dry, but can also breath through a waterproof membrane above your foot which also provides additional protection from the elements.
